Roman reigns, Jey USO Friday night smackdown wwf, results of samckdown

Roman Reigns Overview.

Roman reigns

Roman Reigns, whose real name is Leati Joseph Anoa'i, is a professional wrestler and actor. He was one of the biggest stars in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and considered the company's top villain, playing the character of a dominant and arrogant champion.

Roman Reigns comes from a prominent wrestling family known as the Anoa'i family, which includes several other well-known wrestlers such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Yokozuna. He began his wrestling career in WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, and later transitioned to the main roster.

Reigns gained significant popularity as a member of the faction "The Shield," alongside Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley) and Seth Rollins. After the group disbanded, WWE pushed Reigns as a top singles star, and he won multiple championships, including the WWE Universal Championship and WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

In 2020, Roman Reigns took a hiatus from WWE due to concerns about his health during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his absence, he was replaced as Universal Champion by Braun Strowman. However, Reigns returned later that year with a new persona, aligning himself with Paul Heyman as his special counsel. This new version of Roman Reigns was dubbed the "Tribal Chief," and he displayed a more aggressive and dominant personality.

As a top heel (villain), Roman Reigns received mixed reactions from the WWE Universe, with some fans embracing his new character and others disapproving. Nonetheless, his character shift was well-received by many and added fresh momentum to his career.

Jey USO

Jey Uso, whose real name is Joshua Samuel Fatu, is a professional wrestler and a member of the renowned Anoa'i wrestling family. He is the son of Rikishi (Solofa Fatu) and the younger brother of Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu). Jey Uso is known for his time in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), where he competed alongside his brother Jimmy as one-half of the tag team known as "The Usos."

Jey and Jimmy Uso have achieved considerable success as a tag team in WWE, capturing multiple Tag Team Championships. Their high-energy performances, athleticism, and charismatic personalities have made them fan favorites in the WWE Universe.

In 2020, Jey Uso's career took a significant turn when he became involved in a storyline with his cousin Roman Reigns. During this storyline, Roman Reigns, who had adopted the "Tribal Chief" persona, manipulated and controlled Jey Uso, leading to a rivalry between the two. Jey Uso showcased his versatility as a performer during this feud, displaying emotional depth and delivering compelling promos.

The storyline culminated in a match at WWE's pay-per-view event "Clash of Champions" in September 2020, where Jey Uso faced Roman Reigns in an "I Quit" match for the Universal Championship. Jey fought valiantly but ultimately succumbed to Roman Reigns' dominance.

The storyline further established Roman Reigns as a dominant heel character, while also elevating Jey Uso's status and showcasing his abilities as a singles competitor. It added depth to Jey's character and provided him with an opportunity to shine outside of the tag team division.

As with all professional wrestling storylines, the situation may have evolved since my last update, so I recommend checking more recent sources for the latest information on Jey Uso and his wrestling career.

WWE SmackDown results, recap, grades: Roman Rules, Jey Uso consent to 'Ancestral Battle' at SummerSlam

SmackDown finished up with an intriguing demonstration of honor among Rules and Uso

Roman Rules and Jey Uso are risking everything at SummerSlam. Terms of commitment gave way to family custom when Rules and Uso met on SmackDown.

Uso set out the test last week for a one-on-one match at SummerSlam. The alienated cousins plunked down on Friday night to settle on terms of commitment for their undisputed WWE widespread championship. At last, family customs took need over authoritative commitments.

Custom assumes control over rubbish talk and terms of commitment

Rules inquired as to whether he actually needed to proceed with this. Jey Uso said the matter was fixed once The Bloodline hospitalized Jimmy Uso. Rules diminished Jey Uso to an officer and a pawn prior to marking a match contract for SummerSlam. Jey Uso destroyed the agreement and on second thought recommended "Ancestral Battle" as their seniors had proposed. Jey Uso portrayed "Ancestral Battle" as a no-preclusion, anything-goes match. Heyman urged Rules to decline and leave, however Reigns embraced Jey Uso in a stylized understanding. Sikoa attempted to bushwhack Jey Uso with a Samoan Spike yet Rules interceded, incidentally setting up Sikoa for one of Jey Uso's brand name super kicks. Reporter Michael Cole recommended that the two Rules' title and status as "Clan leader" were in question at SummerSlam

Not especially acquainted with the historical backdrop of "Ancestral Battle" and I don't envision the WWE Universe is either assuming it even exists. The result might have been a unimportant, plot-driven rebranding of a no-preclusion or falls count anyplace match. Luckily, Jey Uso and Roman Rules are impeccable entertainers and worked effectively of giving the limitation levity. The uncommon demonstration of honor among Rules and Uso represented exactly how much weight the practice of "Ancestral Battle" as far as anyone knows holds. Sikoa's discord and Rules coincidental supporting of Jey Uso is one more painstakingly executed move toward the gradual process end of The Bloodline
